Chase Distillery has expanded its gin portfolio with a third product.
Williams Great British Extra Dry Gin - or GB Gin for short - is named after distillery founder William Chase, who also created the Tyrrells crisps brand. Like Chase Vodka, the 40% abv gin is made with a spirit distilled from potatoes grown on the family farm. Along with juniper, GB Gin (rsp: £28) contained 10 botanicals that gave it a citrus zest flavour and warm spicy notes, said Chase.
Chase already produces Williams Elegant Crisp Gin, distilled with apples and Williams Seville Orange Gin, flavoured with orange peel.
The new spirit has already secured export orders to Spain, the biggest consumer of gin.
