Premium frozen cocktails brand Köld has been poured into a single pouch format in a bid to increase the product’s appeal to the mults.
The individual format, which joins the brand’s original multipack, is available now in all the brand’s four varieties: Mojito, Cosmopolitan, Elderflower Martini and Lychee Martini.
Designed to be sold ambient and then frozen by the consumer, each 250ml pouch comes with an 8% abv and can be served straight from the freezer (rsp: £3-£3.50).
The single units had been developed with “a move to grocery in mind”, said sales director Tori Carlaw, adding that since launch in 2014 the brand been focused on “prestigious retailers”. Current listings include John Lewis and Fenwick department stores.
“With our mix of authentic recipes, 100% natural ingredients and a double measure of premium spirits, Köld is unique in the frozen cocktails market, and will make a welcome addition to grocery retailers.”
