Heinz has made John Alderman marketing manager in its newly created retailer brands team.
Alderman is the latest in a string of appointments related to a complete restructuring of Heinz Frozen and Chilled Foods.
He was previously marketing manager for Heinz Nordic, responsible for sauces and quick serve meals.
Prior to that he spent a year in a category management role for Heinz on the UK sauces business and worked for Unilever in New Zealand for 11 years before that.
Alderman will report to business unit director Robin Walker, who said: "The team will focus on driving top line growth for customers through innovations in products and packaging and improved quality levels."
In the restructuring programme Rachel Moffatt was appointed marketing manager for WeightWatchers from Heinz and Linda McCartney brands.
Joanna King has become marketing manager on potato products and snacks.
Dan Ince now manages the Heinz branded pizza portfolio and senior brand manager Jan 't Lam will handle branded desserts.
