Allied Domecq UK is releasing a rare sherry range in the UK as part of an increased focus and investment behind its upmarket portfolio of brands.
The range consists of 10 wines, seven from Domecq and three from Harveys, which have until now had only limited distribution on a few brands.
The Domecq range has four wines which are classified as VORS (aged more than 30 years) and consists of Sibarita, an Olorosa, Venerable, a Pedro Ximenez, Capuchino, a Pale Cortado and Amontillado.
The Harveys range consists of
Harveys Palo Cortado, Fine Old Amontillado and Rich Old Oloroso.
Brand manager Joanne Smith said: “Creating interest in the sherry category is key to the development and growth of the sector.”
