Alpro has revamped its range of soya yoghurts with an improved flavour and texture.

The new recipes offer a fruitier taste and some have also had their fat and calorie contents reduced, according to Alpro.

"Taste is an important driver for yoghurts and we are continually working on improving the taste of our product range," said commercial director John Allaway.

A five-week burst of TV advertising kicked off this week stressing the improved flavour, while packs will carry flashes such as 'more fruity taste' or 'smoother texture'.
