Bart Ingredients is launching a range of barbecue products to appeal to foodies looking to replicate authentic recipes from around the world.

The range, rolling out to Waitrose this week and Ocado from the end of the month, comprises five marinade rubs (rsp: £1.49), three seasoning mills (rsp: £3.99) and three sauces (rsp: £2.99), inspired by cuisines including US, Indian and Moroccan.

“People spend a lot on barbecued foods but there is scope to incrementally grow both the value and volume of sauces, marinades and accompaniments.” said Bart CEO David Collard.

Mintel said 66% of adults eat barbecued food every year, spending £1.6bn annually.
