Princes has extended its Napolina range with ‘stir-through’ sauces.

The ‘rustic’ trio, rolling into Waitrose next week, comprises Marinara, Arrabbiata and Puttanesca variants inspired by recipes from different regions of Italy (rsp: £1.79/175g).

The NPD would help “drive cross-category sales,” said Dean Towey, marketing director for Napolina, which also produces dried pasta. The launch will benefit from a £1m brand-wide push, running now.
