Three London-based food writers have launched a food brand named after their blog.

The first product under the Well Seasoned brand is the Little Pot Of… pesto range that combines Kentish cobnuts, Suffolk cold-pressed rapeseed oil and Winchester cheese with in-season vegetables such as butternut squash and beetroot (rsp: £3.50).

Two seasonal flavours from a range of eight will be available at a time, said the founders, who introduced the Well Seasoned blog in 2009 to share their interest in seasonal eating and sustainable living.

The brand taps into consumers’ desire to minimise their impact on the environment, said co-founder Alex Melrose.
