Kerry Foods is planning to repeat the success of its kids’ Cheestrings brand with an adult cheese snack.
Golden Vale Brunchettas, dubbed an ‘anytime delicatessen’ portable chilled snack, combines Cheddar cheese wedges, crunchy breads and relish in a 90g peel-back pack (rsp: £1.69).
Kerry Foods marketing manager Peter Elvin said Brunchettas was expected to be worth £17m by next year.
Brunchettas will be available from August 30 in three varieties - Ploughman’s Relish, Red Pepper & Onion and Pineapple & Chilli.
The launch will be backed by a £3m campaign including a TV ad in September.
