Sir; Prior to retirement I was for many years involved with both the archives and museum specimens of early Crosse & Blackwell products and, since our takeover by Nestlé in 1964, a great deal of this material has been passed to the company museum in Vevey. At one time we contract packed both beans in tomato sauce and peas for a number of grocery concerns who wished to market their own brands of these lines. As part of a modest personal archive, I have kept a small separate collection of labels for these products. I want to find a good home for these and, appreciating there is hardly an item, however obscure, that someone somewhere does not collect, I suspect bean labels are no exception. Anyone interested?
