French ICM expanding Nearly a third of French apple growers have adopted a new quality control logo for this season. It is an extension of an integrated crop management scheme adopted last year which now accounts for 600,000 tonnes of fruit out of the estimated two million tonne crop. It allows complete traceability back through the supply chain to the orchard, said Henri Pluvinage, president of the French Apple Marketing Commission. For the first time members of the scheme  known as the Charte de Production Fruitière Integrée, will use the new Working with Nature logo which will appear on bushels and cartons. {{FRESH PRODUCE }}
