Singing cartoon characters have been recruited to promote Aquafresh Children's range as part of a £2m marketing push kicking off this month.

A 90-second animation for the brand, which is aimed at mums of under six-year-olds, will air daily on Cartoon Network's Cartoonito Channel from the end of this month and for the next 18 months.

The singing Aquafresh characters will also feature in online, press and sampling activity for the brand, which was launched in July by GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare as part of the company's strategy to strengthen its family positioning.
