Argentinian wine producer Salentein Family of Wines has this week brought a Bordeaux-style wine into the UK.

The producer, which has wineries in the key regions of Mendoza and the San Juan Valley, has introduced the Salentein Winemaker's Selection, priced at £7.99 a bottle, to the UK market. The wine is a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, aged separately in French oak before the final blending.

"The true distinction of this wine is in the quality of the fruit, grown at a varying range of altitudes to suit the varietals," said winemaker Laureano Gómez.
