Arniston Bay Reserve, rolling out now, comprises a Sauvignon Blanc and a Shiraz from South Africa, priced at £6.99 per bottle. The premium, single-varietal wines would give the brand a presence in the fine wine category, said its owner. "The fine wine offering is an essential part of our brand overhaul," said Barney Davis, UK brand and business development manager.
"The new wines are made with the highest- quality grapes sourced from the Western Cape and are crafted in classic, fruit-driven style with intense flavour."
The company added a sparkling variant to its rosé menu in February, revamped its original range last December and also introduced Reef, a value line.
