It’s another slightly subdued day on Fleet Street for food and drink news, aside from the revelation that Mars last year shrunk the size of its eponymous chocolate bar by 7% without reducing the price. The Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail both get indignant.

The Financial Times reports that Carlsberg is looking to expand further into Asia and The Scotsman also takes a look, focusing on whether the brewer paid too much for Scottish & Newcastle last year.

The Telegraph, meanwhile, warns that many puddings on sale in pubs are “drenched” in salt, with The Guardian not far behind.

And The Independent reports on a cunning plan by Mitsubishi to corner to world’s market on bluefin tuna – something it’s presumably far easier to do when global supplies are dwindling as the species nears extinction.
