Aunt Bessie’s has a new managing director at the helm in the form of Mark McDavid.
The former MD of Hallmark Cards said he was proud to be joining the Hull-based business, which has sales of £158m.
McDavid, who has also previously worked for Northern Foods, Wilkinson Sword and St Ivel, said: “I have enjoyed telling friends and relatives that I am joining Aunt Bessie’s because, without exception, everyone knows and loves the brand.
“Aunt Bessie’s has already shown that it can span different parts of the food market and this offers great opportunities.”
Aunt Bessie’s, which produces up to 20 million Yorkshire Puddings each week, has seen its sales grow to £158m over the past 15 years.
It is owned by the William Jackson Food Group a 160-year-old family business.
