The UK's number two turkey supplier, Cranberry Foods, has said it may scale back operations at its Abergavenny plant.

Up to 400 jobs are at risk as the company considers moving slaughtering and processing operations to another factory at Hollybank in Derbyshire. Only packing operations would be left in Wales, seeing the workforce fall from 520 to 120.

Cranberry MD Andy Lewins blamed cheap imports from Poland and Brazil for the cutbacks.
