The bacon markets have had robust sales, with supply tighter.
The Danes said the market had been quite bright since Easter, with trade "very very good in the last two weeks", and factories short of product. Bank holidays on the Continent and in the UK were also helping.
The Dutch said the market was "reasonably steady, with not too much spot bacon available".
The British reported a similar picture with pork legs "very hard to get hold of", and prices rising for gammons.
