A pineapple milk drink that replicates the popular fruit punch mixed up in homes in the Caribbean is hitting the UK.
Barzy’s contains an unusual
combination of almonds, nutmeg, cinnamon, along with milk and 25% fruit juice.
It does not contain artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and will not curdle.
The 250ml ambient cartons retail for 55p and the company’s founder Neville Williams hopes to introduce new flavours such as strawberry and banana along with a one-litre pack this year.
He said the drink had appeal both for kids - because of the high juice content - and adults, who often mixed it with rum to pack a harder punch.
