Bass has introduced a self-merchandised case of its Dutch premium lager Grolsch as part of its drive to increase sales through convenience and independent channels. These are going instore this month and hold 24 275ml bottles. They feature a consumer promotion offering eight bottles for £5. They are designed to offer retailers a prominent display where space is limited. Sales director John Holberry said: "This will offer independents a convenient pack and a point of difference for beer display away from the beer aisle." Bass said the brand had been performing well with sales volumes up 100% compared with last year. {{DRINKS }}
