Premier Foods is relaunching Batchelors Condensed Soup to attract younger users and promote its versatility as a sauce.

The 12-strong range has been repackaged with the "soup or sauce" message on the front of each can and a recipe idea on the ­reverse.

Premier is also pushing the soups' value and health credentials, with a prominent "makes double" reminder and reduced- salt formulation.

The new labelling rolls out this week and uses Batchelors' brand colours to link the range more closely with the rest of the portfolio.
