Van den Bergh Foods aims to keep sales of ambient wet sauces buoyant throughout the year by adding Southern Louisiana ­ a third sauce of the season ­ to its 11 strong Chicken Tonight range this month. Southern Louisiana is a tomato sauce with red peppers and garlic. It replaces leek and mustard ­ the winter season variant. VdBF is backing its full recipe sauce range with a £14m marketing campaign, which kicked off last month. It values the ambient wet sauce market at £81.5m and says Chicken Tonight has a 27.2% share. {{P&P }}
