Britvic has unveiled details of the multimillion pound TV ad starring David Beckham which will spearhead Pepsi's Football campaign. But the soft drinks specialist is still staying tight-lipped over its ongoing Beckham-based row with Coca-Cola. A spokeswoman said she could not confirm speculation over legal action between the two companies after Beckham's picture featured on Coke packaging. She said the matter was "being dealt with by the global team". She emphasised that the brand's long-term deal with Beckham "extends across far more than just packaging". Meanwhile, the ad, which screens on May 13, sees Beckham and other international football stars pitching their skills against a team of sumo wrestlers who challenge them to win a cooler full of ice cold Pepsi. It will run for six weeks during kids' programmes and World Cup games and highlights. Pepsi's Football campaign includes on-pack offers, tailor-made promotions and radio and press ads. There is also an interactive Pepsi football microsite at pepsi-football.co.uk. {{P&P }}
