The Wine and Spirit Trades' Benevolent Society has appointed Cheng Loo as chief executive.
Loo, who will take up her new role in June this year, replaces Mike Campbell.
She has worked at the charity for eight years and is currently a magistrate. She has worked at a number of solicitors firms as well as being a school administrator with financial responsibilities. She also has a diploma in business management.
"I am delighted to be given the opportunity to consolidate and strengthen the successes of the Benevolent," said Loo. "My aim is to broaden the supporter base from all sectors of the drinks trade by building stronger relationships with them."
She added: "I am also particularly keen to maintain the momentum of the communications campaign.
