A top Scottish chef is leading the charge to get the country’s meat onto menus across Europe.

Michelin starred chef Jeff Bland has joined forces with Quality Meat Scotland to help promote Scottish lamb to European restaurants.

Bland, executive chef at the Balmoral Hotel, helped prepare a series of dishes at a food fair in the Netherlands last week.

Margaret Stewart, QMS’ export manager, said: “We are delighted to have a chef of Jeff Bland’s calibre helping us spread the positive message about the benefits of eating Scottish lamb.”
