Sainsbury’s Cheadle - a former G33 store of the week - has attracted a new, discerning group of shoppers this past week.
A flock of Canada geese (not known for being interested in service and availability) have turned up at the store’s car park to lay their eggs.
Perhaps the honkers have picked up a few hints on customer service, though. Known for their aggression when guarding their young, the geese are reportedly well-behaved - and have even become local ‘celebrities’. Now that is a point of difference.
