Walkers has brought back its successful Do us a Flavour campaign.
Successful or not, this is bad news for jug-eared crisp fanatic Gary Lineker. Suddenly the world and his wife are plaguing him with inane ideas. Gaz is given some pigs in blankets as an aide-memoire, a Tube sign is doctored to read ‘Piccalilli Circus’ and a man covered in garlic sausages shouts the words “garlic sausage”.
Soon, a crowd is gathering, and Gary ends up curled into a ball, kettled by cops with ‘basil’ and ‘stew’ written on their riot shields.
Whether you enjoy his mugging or not, Lineker puts in another reliable performance that’s sure to prompt a few suggestions. Fingers crossed it puts paid to the notion of ‘garlic sausage’ winning, too.
