Suppliers are always on about ‘standout’ and whisky maker J&B has certainly achieved that with its latest packaging.
It has covered some of its bottles in a super-creepy latex ‘skin’, and got a Parisian tattooist to ink them up. Nice! This supposedly reflects J&B’s heritage - it launched at a time tattoos were popular with sailors, you see.
Now, of course, they’re popular with everyone. But - sadly for Ed Gein types and anyone seeking inspiration and Dutch courage for their next tat - all 25 bottles have already been sold.
