Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland - a grocery-based fable of the perils of poorly labelled food - is 150 this year.

What better way to mark the milestone than by eating loads of jam tarts in Llandudno? The Welsh town has an indisputable link with Alice: that, er, Carroll once visited it. Possibly.

Still, any excuse!

Coleg Llandrillo students baked 2,045 tarts and lined them up, forming an Amsterdam-rivalling 134.9 metre-long row. That’s a lot for anyone to steal.
