eating sandwiches

In May, we noted Ben & Jerry’s pro-marriage equality efforts in Australia. Customers may not buy two scoops of the same flavour until the country allows it.

As voting forms were distributed this week, B&J found a savoury ally in the form of Subway. The sandwich store’s Cranbourne Park branch in Melbourne is printing ‘vote yes’ messages on its till receipts. ‘Do it because it’s the right thing to do’, it advises.

All it’ll take to seal the vote is a BBQ maker and/or a brewer to join the fray, surely?
