Booker’s new foodservice arm Chef Direct has won its first contract, supplying Revolution vodka bars.
The £3m account covers Revolution’s 66 bars and was awarded by Equinoxe Solutions, which acts as purchasing consultants.
Service had been “excellent” since the contract began two weeks ago, said Equinoxe MD Rob Kemp. “Their pick and scan eliminates picking errors,” he said.
Booker launched Chef Direct in January, when it promised to become “the new force in foodservice” and to challenge the market’s two major players.
The bars were previously served by DBC Foodservice, which went into administration on Monday.
