Cooked meats specialist Bernard Matthews is making life easier for sandwich makers with the launch of baguette-shaped slices of cooked
chicken and ham. Each 100g pack contains 10 small, oval slices of meat as the company bids to make its products even more user-friendly.
Marketing director Andy Watts said: “Convenience is one reason why consumers buy cooked meats. But it’s not totally convenient if each slice has to be trimmed to fit.”
The launch of the £1.49 packs comes as Bernard Matthews starts a £10m campaign.
