the World Cup Kellogg is to kick off its "biggest instore promotion ever" to coincide with the World Cup. The cereals giant plans to take advantage of the tournament's early kick-offs ­ most matches in Japan and Korea will start at breakfast time ­ to launch a football giveaway. Starting next month, shoppers will be able to pick up a free limited edition Foot Bowl' when they buy two special packets of Kellogg's Frosties, Rice Krispies or Coco Pops. Each bowl has an individual number printed on the base with the chance to win a host of prizes including a TV and DVD home entertainment system, Euro soccer weekends and mini scooters. The push will be backed by three weeks of nationwide TV and press ads and in-store support. UK sales director Kevin Jones said: "The early kick-offs mean that literally millions of people will be able to enjoy live World Cup football over breakfast so this is a great opportunity for Kellogg's and retailers." {{P&P }}
