Its Bread Toppings range comes in three varieties - tomato, basil & pine nuts; tomato, olive & Grappa; and red pepper, onion & chilli.
They can be served on toasted bread such as ciabatta or focaccia, puff pastry or pizza bases, either to make canapés, a starter for a dinner party or just for a snack during the day, according to Sacla'.
The new range goes into supermarkets this month, and has already secured listings in Tesco and Waitrose.
Sacla' is the latest Italian sauce company to extend into bread toppings and follows the move by Napolina back in April with its Bruschetta product.
However, Sacla' said its range was positioned at a more premium end of the sauces market. The new lines have an rsp of £1.69 for a 190g jar compared with Napolina's product, which comes in larger 270g jars priced at 79p.
