The bacon market was described as brighter on the Danish side this week with trade picking up. Prices are expected to hold with little chance of change from now to Christmas.
British backs, however, remain weak due to the continuing problem of surplus product on the market, but shoulders are still very firm due to continued high promotional activity.
Dutch traders described the market as "not lively" this week.
"It's unchanged from last week, but on the weaker side," said one. They reported there may yet be some corrections on price before Christmas.
