Britvic is turning up the heat in the soft drinks market this summer with an £11m spend behind Tango and a £6m investment for kids’ juice drink Fruit Shoot.

Tango activity includes new tinted bottles, new logos, and a curved shape for the 500ml size, as well as the launch of Fruit Fling, a blend of orange, passion fruit and pineapple.

A new ad featuring the familiar ‘You know when you’ve been Tango’d’ slogan is scheduled for later in the year, along with outdoor ads, sampling and on-pack promotions.

Fruit Shoot gets TV ads and sponsorship and a Legoland Takeover promotion from June, participants get a game card with every Fruit Shoot purchase and can exchange them for half-price kids’ entry at Legoland.
