BRL Hardy has combined with Kettle Chips to bring something different to the wine fixture. In a new venture for both companies, a boxed set has been created containing Hardy's Nottage Hill 1999 Shiraz and a 150g bag of Lightly Salted Kettle Chips. This retails at £5.99, £1.45 less than the combined rsp of the two lines. This is being run exclusively through Sainsbury from May 21 for two weeks. Hardy's brand manager Bryonie Grieveson said this was an innovative cross promotional link which benefited both brands and said there could be future opportunities for a partnership with the Kettle Chips brand. Consumer services manager at Kettle Foods, Pippa Rowntree, said: "We know from trial that when the brand is positioned alongside the wine fixture there is a steep increase in sales. This is an attractive package for the consumer in terms of looks and value." {{DRINKS }}
