The flagging White Stuff generic milk advertising campaign was given a boost this week with the possibility of new money from Brussels. The Dairy Council has been exploring ways to keep up the momentum of the campaign after processors decided to withdraw funding last month. A spokeswoman said EU funding was available to trade organisations for promotional measures to boost consumption of agricultural products of EU origin, provided they were marketed as a "natural source of health and wellbeing". The council's counterparts in France, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands have also applied for a share of cash, which is understood to total about E6m. It is not clear when the money will be allocated, but the council said it was confident the UK would get its share. {{NEWS }}
