Budweiser has strengthened its association with football after agreeing a deal with the FA Premier League for next season.
The beer, which is already the official beer of the 2006 FIFA World Cup, an event it has supported since 1986, has become the FA's online partner which will give the brand exclusive advertising rights on the website.
As part of the deal, Budweiser will also be named as the official beer of the FA Premier League. Andrew J Day, MD of Anheuser-Busch Europe, said: "The demographic of Premier League fans closely matches that of Budweiser drinkers. We look forward to a successful association."
