Budweiser is offering consumers the chance to live the lifestyle of a footballer as part of an off-trade promotion for Euro 2004.
Continuing Bud’s innovative use of technology to alert prize winners, lucky drinkers who buy a multipack of the lager will discover a camera-phone shaped like a beer bottle in the box. A winning message will automatically be played on the phone’s screen and the consumer will be instructed to call the Budweiser winners’ hotline to receive their prize.
The top prizes in the ‘Live Like a Footballer’ promotion are 10 trips to New York, including a four-night stay in a luxury loft apartment, VIP access to a club plus £1,000 spending money.
Ten thousand Budweiser sport radios will also be up for grabs via a ‘text to have a chance to win’ mechanic.
