Devonshire crisp supplier Burts is launching a new range of crisps that changes with the seasons, reflecting the foods eaten during those times.

Aberdeen Angus chip (rsp: £1.99/150g), a new 'winter warmer' flavour made with real Aberdeen Angus beef, which is made into a stew, reduced and 'spray dried', kicks off the line-up and will be in Tesco stores and independents from 1 December.

"It brings innovation into a category that can be a bit staid at times," said Burts director Jonty White.

White also predicted a turnover of £10m this year, up 40% on last year.
