It's great to review one of my favourite drinks and this is one of the best Manzanillas around at a good price.
Available in two sizes, it has a classic tangy concentrated nose with a hint of freshly baked bread.
Bone dry with a unique light saltiness, it also has a delicious crispness.
However, this sherry is not light and has a wonderful lingering finish.
For me this is the ultimate aperitif along with a pint of Adnams to start any great meal. It will go well with salty Spanish meats, olives or any seafood in garlic.
The packaging has been updated, the bottle is a great shape and the label is much improved with less clutter.
This is a definite winner. Score: 23/25
