Trivento

Argentinian wine brand Trivento has enlisted top chef Neil Rankin, owner of London restaurant Temper, as the face of a new campaign.

The push focuses on wine’s compatibility with barbecue food. It will see neck collars, offering customers the chance to win ‘The Ultimate BBQ Party Kit’, roll out across Trivento Reserve Malbec bottles from this month.

The activity will be backed with a poster campaign across 400 London Underground sites running until 10 July. Facebook activity will promote Trivento and barbecue food with the hashtag #owningit. The Concha y Toro brand has also partnered with the Telegraph newspaper for an extended campaign across print and online.

Sales of Trivento grew 67.6% last year to £26.2m, with volumes up 65.5% to 347,512 nine-litre cases [Nielsen 52 w/e 8 October 2016].

“We think this campaign will help translate Trivento’s already stellar sales into something even bigger,” said brand manager Natasha Erlandson. “The British wine drinker loves a BBQ and our wines are the perfect complement to that style of cooking.”
