Cadbury Schweppes has signed a $166million deal with New York City to supply schools and government buildings with vending machines for the next five years.
Cadbury clinched the deal because it offered to launch a new line of its Snapple brand made with pure fruit juice, as well as bottled water.
The UK-based chocolate and soft drinks maker said it would also provide $1m to upgrade school sports facilities and playgrounds.
Cadbury will place 2,500 drink vending machines in 1,225 schools, plus 1,500 machines at other government buildings.
