It is launching a pack of two full-size ring doughnuts covered in Cadbury milk chocolate and chocolate pieces (rsp: 79p) for in-store bakeries. The doughnuts will be listed in Tesco from this month and in Asda after Easter. Matt Godbold, marketing manager at Kitchen Range Foods, said that the products would benefit from strong Cadbury branding. “Bringing a major brand such as Cadbury to in-store bakeries will really help to boost the section’s presence.”
The product will be backed by in-store sampling and PR over the Easter period.
