A handmade savoury biscuit brand produced in Wales has secured its first supermarket listing.

Cradoc’s Savoury Biscuits’ Golden Baked Vegetable Crackers range, which consists of three variants (rsp: £3/80g), is being rolled into Waitrose’s Cowbridge store now, with plans to expand into further stores next year.

The listing follows the brand’s appearance at this year’s Speciality and Fine Food Fair in London, which resulted in enquiries from Waitrose, Fortnums and Harvey Nichols, said company founder Allie Thomas. She set up the business in 2010 with her daughter to fill a gap for “good-quality biscuits that would complement Welsh cheese”.
