Highland Distillers is adding two premium Californian wine ranges to its portfolio. The company is a joint venture between Jim Beam Brands, Rémy Cointreau and Highland Distillers, which was formed last year. Next month it will change its name to Maxxium. Meanwhile it has taken on the distribution of Geyser Peak and Canyon Road wines from Heyman Barwell Jones. The wines are part owned by JBB and will be handled by Highland Distillers business development director Huw Pennell, who is also responsible for Charles and Piper Heidsieck champagnes, Faustino wines, Rémy Martin cognac and Cointreau. Both the Californian collections are premium styles. Geyser Peak Sonoma County wines retail at £8.99 and £19.99. The four Canyon Road wines sell at £6.99. {{DRINKS }}
