Dove Go Fresh is set to make its TV debut next month as part of a £4m marketing push. It is the first campaign for the Unilever deodorant, which hit supermarket shelves at the beginning of the year. The advert has been designed to communicate the energising qualities of the cucumber & green tea, grapefruit & lemongrass and waterlily & freshmint variants. The execution carries the strapline 'Stay dry. Go fresh' and features 'real' women. The launch forms part of a wider push by Unilever this year, which ploughed a record £65m into the deodorants category, including a raft of new sub-brands. It plans to attract younger consumers, create more loyalty and encourage consumers to trade up. The TV ads kick off on 1 June supported by press, outdoor and online activity.
