Filippo Berio is preparing for summer with a new press campaign, a return to TV and the introduction of a super-premium unfiltered olive oil.

The strapline 'For Food Lovers', will appear on press ads in national newspapers and magazines, while last year's TV campaign will be back from 1 May during food programmes such as Come Dine With Me, Jamie at Home and You Are What you Eat.

The new olive oil, Filippo Berio Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil, available from this week, priced at £6.99 a litre, is aimed at food connoisseurs.

"These initiatives will allow us to engage with a closely targeted audience that cares passionately about quality food," said Diana Anderson, marketing manager of Filippo Berio UK. "The campaign will appeal to people who love to cook with quality ingredients."
