Family cooks will be urged to ‘spread something good’ this summer in a new £1.3m advertising campaign promoting the Heinz Spread & Bake range.

The campaign is the first for the range of cooking sauces, which was launched in May.

It will run through this month and next and include a new TV advert featuring the song ‘Spread a Little Happiness’ as well as press advertising in women’s consumer magazines.

“The catchy ads will illustrate to those tasked with preparing the family meal that Heinz Spread & Bake is a delicious and easy way to liven up meat and fish,” said brand manager Nicole Aitchison.
